“Safari Par Excellence”

Day 1 Private Reserve                                                                        South Africa

We depart from Johannesburg and head for the Greater Kruger Park area, arriving at a the Lodge in time for lunch. We settle into camp after which we head off on a late afternoon/evening Big Five game drive in open 4x4 vehicles. Sundowner drinks are enjoyed at one of the waterholes before continuing our game drive into the night. After an exciting night drive, we return to camp to enjoy a traditional South African meal around a log fire. (L D)

Day 2 Private Reserve                                                                       South Africa

Up at sunrise, we board an open 4x4 vehicle and head for the Bush insearch of the big 5. a fair bit of off road driving could be experienced. Our guide chooses some of the best game drive routes within the Park, giving us the opportunity to view the varied landscapes, ecosystems$ and abundant wildlife. We return back to camp for breakfast and after a bush walk is on offer for those who wish to explore the african bush on foot.

Siesta time till lunch time. Time to read, catch up the travel dairy or just enjoy the magic of life as you relax next to the swimming pool

Late afternoon we board the Land Rovers for an afternoon / night safari in search for the animals. These are the best times of the day to spot them- early morning and late afternoon. Sun downer drink is to be enjoyed at one of the waterholes. We take the spot light out and do “a night drive” back to camp.

Dinner is to be enjoyed under African sky around camp fire ( B L D )

Day 3 Johannesburg                                                                          South Africa

We begin our day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on our last morning drive – enjoying a coffee break in the bush.

Breakfast is to be enjoyed at the camp and depends on further travel arrangements we might be able to fit another bush walk in before setting off to Joburg.via the escarpment to view the spectacular setting of the Three Rondawels overlooking the Blyde River Canyon. We then continue our journey en-route to Johannesburg, arriving in the late afternoon. (B)

* On the 4 day trip you just spend an extra day in paridise
