Day 1 Blyderiver Canyon - South Africa
We depart from Pretoria / Johannesburg early morning travelling via the scenic route towards the Lowveld.
We visit the historic Pioneers Gold Digging Village of Pilgrims Rest, we enjoy lunch in the village of Graskop. (own cost)
We visit Gods Window and the Bourkes luck potholes while enjoying the breath taking views of Blyderivier Canyon, the 3 rd largest Canyon in the world.
Overnight @ Forever Resort Blyderivier Canyon
Dinner in restaurant for own expense
Day 2 Kruger National Park - South Africa
After coffee and rusks we enjoy the 2 hour hike down the gorge to the waterfall before it gets to hot (optional)
After breakfast (as prepared by your guide) we leave this amazing Canyon behind for the village of Hoedspruit where we will be staying on one of the many private game reserves in the Greater Kruger Region
Lunch in Hoedspruit (own cost)
We arrive @ our bush lodge in time for our first safari experience on a open safari jeep searching for the animals. The Big 5 are roaming around freely but doesn’t escape your rangers trained eyes.
Sun downers is enjoyed in the bush and then we are spoiled with a night drive back to camp
Overnight at Tshukudu Private Reserve or similar

Day 3 Kruger National Park - South Africa
Up at sunrise after coffee, we set off on a bush walk or another drive with our rangers.
Breakfast is waiting for you when you return
after breakfast we depart for Kruger National Park, a short drive away.
Our safari begins the moment we enter through the gate. We would stop for a light lunch (own cost) @ a small restaurant inside the park from where we proceed to our rest camp, where we will overnight for the next 2 nights
Late afternoon you can join Park ranger on a sun set drive which is optional extra (R 270 pp)
Overnight & inside Kruger Rest Camp or just outside if the park is full

Day 4 Kruger National Park - South Africa
Just after sunrise we enter the park again – the cats are active in the early morning and so are we. You will enjoy the comfort of our vehicle where you can control the climate inside the vehicle and enjoy the elevated view making photographic history around every corner.
Time is on your side as we don’t have to rush anywhere
We travel on all the roads in the park which takes us to some of the best game drive routes, giving us the opportunity to view the varied landscapes, ecosystems and abundant wildlife.
Breakfast is enjoyed at one of the many picnic sites in the park.
The entire days is spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes. Lunch is enjoyed in the park (own cost) at one of the rest camps - an opportunity to cool off in their swimming pool is welcoming and refreshing. We continue our safari till late afternoon when we reach our rest camp for the night

Day 5 & 6 Swaziland - Swaziland
Yet another early morning coffee before we set off to the south of Kruger Park where we exit the park and head for Swaziland.
We have a border control point so keep your passports handy for more stamps and a friendly smile at the border official.
We will visit a glass & candle factory where lunch is to be enjoyed (own cost)
This afternoon you will be visiting Matenga Cultural village for an insight into the Swazi cultural and for some of the most exhilarating traditional dances viewable
We stay @ Millwane Wildlife Sanctuary for 2 nights and will enjoy the table from the restaurants kitchen and 1 night dinner prepared by your guide team)
The sanctuary is filled with free roaming animals and offer guest the opportunity to go on mountain bike safari, do some horseback safari or simply just go for an amazing hike

Day 7 St Lucia - South Africa
This morning after breakfast we will be heading south towards the South African border.
We re-enter South Africa (another smile @ border official and head south to St Lucia.
This afternoon we board a small boat to view the croc's, hippos and the amazing bird life of this World Heritage site.
Tonight you have a free night to explore the village on foot with a wide selection for restaurants to choose from for dinner (own account)
Overnight St Lucia
Day 8 Durban - South Africa
This morning we enjoy a late breakfast before hugging the lush KwaZulu-Natal coast line en route to Durban, watching the sugar cane fields do their own version of the Mexican wave at the urging of the wind.
As we arrive in Durban, Moses Mabida Staduim in all its glory is inviting us to visit.
Clients have the opportunity to take the cable way to the top of the stadium for a breathtaking view over the Durban skyline. The more adventurous can do a swing into the stadium while less adventurous are using the viewing platform
No arrival to the Durban Beach front is completed without a walk on the Golden Mile
We stay in one of the beach front hotels for the night
Dinner tonight is for your own account at local restaurant – Indian is recommended as Durban has one of the largest Indian Population outside of India
Day 9 Drakensberg - South Africa
Nothing is better than an early morning walk, run or biking on the beach.
Durban has a “Miami” feel to it and the early mornings on the beach is the best time of day to walk run cycle or just sit and watch people with a steaming cup of coffee
After breakfast we can explore the city a little bit more before heading inland towards the Drakensberg Mountains.
Just outside the town of Howick we will visit the Nelson Mandela capture site where he was captured in 1961
We arrive in the Northern Drakensberg late afternoon to check into our accommodation at ATKV Drakensville
Their indoor heated pool is a big hit with clients

Day 10 Johannesburg - South Africa
After breakfast we set off to the Royal Natal National Park on a guided hike viewing some Bushman cave paintings.
A selection of self guided trails is available to guests as is horseback trails.
We need to depart for Johannesburg latest 11 am to arrive late afternoon
