Day 1 – Nelspruit to Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique
Are you ready for an exciting adventure through Mozambique? Our journey begins bright and early at 6 am, as we depart Nelspruit and head towards the Mozambique border.
Once we cross the border, we'll make a quick visit to the vibrant and bustling city of Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. Here, you'll have the opportunity to take in the local culture, and explore some of the city's most famous landmarks.
After our visit to Maputo, we'll head to our main destination: Ponta do Ouro. This stunning beach town is known for its beautiful white sand beaches, dense dune forests, and amazing diving opportunities. You'll have plenty of time to soak up the sun, explore the local markets, and indulge in some of the freshest seafood you've ever tasted.

Day 2: Leisure Day in Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique
Today, we have a full day of leisure and optional activities planned, giving you the opportunity to relax, unwind and explore the stunning scenery of this beautiful region.
For those seeking adventure, there are plenty of optional activities to choose from, including scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing, and more. You can explore the azure sea and the rich marine life, or ride the waves in one of the most beautiful surfing spots in the world.
If you prefer to take it easy, there are plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You can soak up the sun on the beautiful white sand beaches, or take a stroll through the dense dune forests and marvel at the stunning natural beauty of the area.
Throughout the day, you'll have the option to sample the local cuisine, with plenty of delicious seafood options available. You can also immerse yourself in the local culture, visiting the local markets and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of this unique and charming town.

Day 3: Ponta do Ouro to Hlane Royal National Park, Eswatini
As your time in Ponta do Ouro draws to a close, we want to ensure that you have the opportunity to participate in any final activities that you may have missed during your stay. Whether you choose to take a last dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, stroll along the pristine white sand beaches, or embark on an ocean safari to catch a glimpse of the incredible marine life that calls this region home, this morning is yours to enjoy as you see fit.
After a leisurely breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to Ponta do Ouro and begin our journey to our next destination, the Kingdom of Eswatini. As we journey towards this unique and culturally rich nation, you'll have the opportunity to take in the stunning scenery and prepare for the adventures that await.
Hlane is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, and more. Upon arrival, we'll check into our accommodations, situated amidst the picturesque wilderness of Hlane Royal National Park. Here, you'll have the option to participate in an optional sunset open jeep safari, taking in the sights and sounds of the African bush, exploring the natural beauty and wildlife of this unique and pristine region.

Day 4: Hlane to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, Eswatini
Good morning! Today promises to be another exciting day on our adventure through Eswatini. We'll rise early in time for optional activities, giving you the chance to immerse yourself in the incredible surroundings of Hlane Royal National Park.
One of our favourite activities is tracking rhinos on foot, an exhilarating experience that allows you to witness these incredible creatures up close and personal. Alternatively, you can participate in a rhino drive, which is 80% driving and 20% on foot. No matter which option you choose, you're sure to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience in this incredible national park.
After breakfast, we'll depart for our next destination - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Along the way, we'll visit a candle factory and various artists studios, giving you the opportunity to explore the rich culture and artistic traditions of this unique region.
Upon arrival in Mlilwane, we'll overnight in beehive huts, a truly authentic African experience. In the afternoon, we highly recommend a visit to an authentic Eswatini Cultural village, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and learn more about the traditional way of life.

Day 5: Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary to Johannesburg, South Africa
As our epic 5-day tour of Mozambique and Eswatini comes to an end, we have one final day to enjoy the stunning surroundings of Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. This morning, we have some time to explore this incredible sanctuary, and there are plenty of optional activities to choose from. If you're feeling adventurous, you can opt for a horseback safari, mountain biking, or a self-guided hike, all of which offer the chance to experience the breath-taking scenery and wildlife up close.
After our morning activities, we'll enjoy a delicious brunch before making our way back to the city lights of Johannesburg. As we drive back, we'll reflect on the amazing experiences we've had over the past five days, from exploring the beautiful white sand beaches and dense dune forests of Ponta do Ouro to immersing ourselves in the rich culture and wildlife of Eswatini.
We'll arrive in Johannesburg in the late afternoon, bidding farewell to our fellow travellers and the incredible region that has captured our hearts. This adventure has been an unforgettable journey through some of the most stunning landscapes, diverse cultures, and breath-taking wildlife that Africa has to offer, leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime.
