Morning - On the first day of our adventure, we bid farewell to the bustling city of Johannesburg and embark on a journey across the highveld, heading towards the majestic Drakensberg escarpment in Mpumalanga province. Following the ancient trade routes, to the renowned Panorama Route. A fair bit of driving is done today.
Midday – Optional visit to Graskop Gorge Lift, before making our way down the escarpment opt to visit Graskop gorge lift Company for many optional activities, a highlight being the viewing lift takes visitors 51m down the face of the gorge into the indigenous forest below, where wooden walkways & suspension bridges make up a 600m trail. (Entrance, activities and Lunch for own costs) Afternoon – As the afternoon unfolds, we are treated to an array of awe-inspiring natural wonders. Our first stop is Gods Window, a remarkable vantage point offering breath-taking panoramic views of the sprawling lowveld and the vast expanse of Kruger National Park roughly 700m below. The sight is nothing short of magnificent. Continuing our adventure, we venture towards Bourke’s Luck Potholes, an extraordinary geological formation. These unique potholes, carved by centuries of swirling water, present us with a captivating display of rock formations. As the day draws to a close, we conclude our day at Three Rondavels. Here, we are greeted by the striking sight of three towering peaks, reminiscent of traditional African rondavels, proudly standing against the horizon. The view is simply mesmerizing, offering us a moment of tranquillity and reflection. Late Afternoon – We settle in for the night, finding ourselves perched above the Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world. Surrounded by the breath-taking beauty of the canyon's rugged cliffs and lush greenery, eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead. |

Morning - Start the day by watching the sun rise over the canyon before embarking on one of the many optional hiking trails, catering to different levels of intensity and duration. You can opt for a relaxed stroll down the canyon to see the Tufa waterfall in just 45 minutes or embark on a more challenging hike that lasts anywhere between 2 to 4 hours.
Hiking in the Blyde River Canyon allows you to take advantage of the spectacular panoramic views and photographic opportunities of the Blyde river canyon and the Three Rondavels from unique vantage points. After a morning of activities, we have a 3-4-hour drive today down the escarpment into the Lowveld home to the world-famous Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. The town of Komatipoort a mere 15 minutes from Kruger Park where stay for the next 2 nights. Afternoon/Evening – Optional Sunset Safari – 16:30-19:30, Set off with a Kruger Specialist guide in the late afternoon and return after sunset with the help of a spotlight to see the nocturnal animals. Search for the grazing and browsing animals in the cooling afternoon, the perfect chance to witness the beautiful African sunset over the bushveld in the Kruger National Park. After sunset there is greater chance to see the nocturnal animals emerge from their resting spots. |

Early Morning – Waking early this morning to meet with your Kruger Park specialist guide at the Crocodile Bridge gate of the Kruger National Park for a full day safari on an open jeep. A breakfast pack will be provided to take with. Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and safari essentials (camera, binoculars etc).
Enjoying the day in search of the famous big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhinoceros) as well as all the other species of birds, mammals and reptiles this part of Africa has to offer. Kruger Park is South Africa’s largest game reserve and is truly the flagship of South African National Parks, Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Making use of 9-seater open air Safari vehicles which are perfectly designed to give you a real bird’s eye view of the wildlife you will encounter on your Safari. Stopping throughout the day at various animal sightings, waterholes, viewpoints. Midday – Stopping for lunch (for own account) at one of the rest stops. After lunch continue your safari before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon. Afternoon – Returning back at the lodge to enjoy leisure time and dinner (for own account). |

Morning – Breakfast is enjoyed before we depart for the Mozambican border. Leaving Kruger Park and South Africa behind as we enter Mozambique today. After border formalities we head for the Capital City of Maputo for a quick city highlights drive.
Midday – We see the beautiful Maputo Central Train Station, Central Market, Iron House and Cathedral. After we continue our journey south to the quaint beach side town of Ponta do Ouro in Southern Mozambique. Late Afternoon – Checking into our accommodation for the next 2 nights and time to book optional activities for the next day. Your guide will assist you. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Ponta do Ouro, you will be sure to find beautiful white sand beaches. A very traditional open-air market, several "cantinas" (little shops) and eager curio sellers will quench your thirst for shopping before you make your way to one of the rustic bars in town for some cocktails and local beer. Ask the bar tender for a R&R (Rum and Raspberry). Evening – This evening we head to the market to enjoy dinner a traditional chicken dinner at Mamma Alice’s. Dolphin Swim Tour – A unique and unforgettable experience is swimming with wild dolphins in their natural habitat. This trip includes a dolphin’s swim and a shallow reef snorkel to spot turtles, rays and tropical marine fish. The total duration is 2h45 minutes, which includes a 2-hour boat trip – depending on sightings and behaviour of the dolphins. *Remember these are wild dolphins and sightings of the dolphins are not always guaranteed. Whale Watching Season – July to November (Combo specials available with dolphin swim and whale watching) Alternatively go for endless beach walks, sip cocktails at the many beach bars or simply relax on the beach before trying the local fresh seafood. Morning – After breakfast we dust the sand off our feet and bid farewell to the beautiful beaches of Southern Mozambique and make our may to the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Midday – Remember those passports today as we crossing the border into Eswatini. Afternoon – Checking in at Hlane for the night, enjoy lunch (for own account) overlooking the water in front of the restaurant that is visited by animals coming to drink. This afternoon you can opt for an Optional sunset safari. Evening – Dinner is enjoyed in the open-air restaurant, be sure to listen out for the lions roaring after dinner. Please note Hlane has no electricity. Paraffin lanterns and candles are used for light and gas for hot water showers is used. Optional Sunset Safari: This 2.5-hour sunset safari offers the chance to witness the beauty of Hlane at dusk, including a drink while watching the sunset. Hlane is home to four of the Big Five, missing only the buffalo. The reserve is divided into three areas, and the sunset safari includes a visit to the lion section, where you may hear their powerful roars as night falls. **Border Crossing today, please keep them passports nearby** |

Early Morning – This morning we truly experience a unique experience with a Rhino Drive/Walk. Focusing on the White Rhinoceros, this activity which includes 80% driving and 20% walking and is a shorter 1,5-hour safari. The highlight of this is the potential opportunity of alighting from the vehicle and quietly approaching White Rhinos on foot. Not all Rhinoceros’s are approachable, and guides have discretion. Due to the nature of this activity, minimum age 13 years.
Mid-Morning – After breakfast we pack up and make our way to the Swazi Candles Centre. See talented crafters, artists and the bustling Arts and Crafts market for souvenirs. Sample some Black Mamba chilli sauce. Afternoon – We visit another of Eswatini’s top tourist attractions at Mantenga Reserve. Set against the back drop of Nyonyane mountain. In the reserve we visit a cultural village where Swazi history, culture and tradition is brought alive. Late Afternoon – Check into Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, a pioneer conservation area of Eswatini. |

If the specified accommodations on your itinerary are unavailable, you can rest assured that we will promptly arrange alternate options of equal or superior quality to ensure your comfort.
Budget Option: For a cozy, budget-friendly stay, our "Basic Rooms" provide standard twin/double rooms, sometimes with shared bathrooms. These 3-star accommodations offer comfort without compromising on value.
Comfort Option: For those seeking a bit more comfort, our "Better Standard of Accommodation" features twin/double en-suite rooms. Also rated at 3/4 stars, these rooms offer added amenities and convenience, ensuring a more delightful and enjoyable stay.
Pre/Post Travel arrangements
If you need any accommodation or tours before or after your trip, please let us know when you make your booking. We recommend arriving at least one day before your tour begins and making any onward travel arrangements for the day after the tour ends.
If you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of your travels, we suggest reserving a domestic flight that departs no earlier than 20h00 and an international flight that departs no earlier than 21h00. We will not be responsible for any delays or additional travel costs associated with onward arrangements made on the day the tour ends.

We offer flexible departure and drop-off points from hotels and locations near airports, ensuring convenience and accessibility every step of the way. Whether you're starting your adventure or wrapping up, we've got you covered with seamless transportation that fits your travel plans perfectly.
Passport and Visas
Before embarking on your adventure through Africa, it's crucial to have all necessary documentation in order. We strongly recommend ensuring that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of your exit flight and that you have at least 2 blank pages per country you plan to visit. Additionally, please carry printed copies of your passport with you during the tour.
VISAS!!! It’s important to be aware that if you are denied entry to a country for any reason, all additional costs or transportation required to re-join the tour will be at your own expense. While we are here to assist, please note that obtaining the necessary visas is your responsibility. Taking these precautions will help ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
Meals and Activities on Tour
Each itinerary includes a specific meal plan and a detailed list of highlights and activities, so it's important to review the information carefully to know what’s covered and what might be at your own expense.
Breakfasts are included in your itinerary and will be provided either by an on-site or nearby restaurant, or prepared by your guide. This ensures you start each day well-fed and ready for your adventure.
Lunch is not included in the package. While we've scheduled time for meals, on longer driving days, we may not have the opportunity for a sit-down lunch at a restaurant. Instead, you'll find supermarkets, farm stalls, or takeaway options along the way to enjoy a quick bite on the road.
Dinners are not included in the package, but there are convenient options available. You can choose to dine at nearby or on-site restaurants, or take advantage of self-catering facilities available at certain locations. This flexibility allows you to enjoy your meals according to your preferences.
